This week I am introducing you to Events by Design, a boutique wedding planning and styling agency based in Noosa.

By remaining boutique, Events by Design is able to hold onto all those things they value in weddings: specialised service, bespoke designs, exclusive decor, and hand-made furnishings made with much love. “I believe good things come in lush little packages. It is the little things that count in a wedding, and a marriage,” says Trudy.
Specialising in Noosa’s beachfront and hinterland weddings, Events by Design’s services range from intimate beachside elopements to deluxe marquee celebrations at Noosa’s most stunning private estates.
Events by Design was created by Trudy Croad. Trudy’s previous experience includes 15 years in fashion and bridal magazines and planner of celebrity cocktail parties, awards ceremonies, film premieres and weddings in both London and Sydney.’

1. What’s your favourite way to relax at the weekend?
A long walk on the beach with my little puppy Chloe
2. Favourite restaurant?
There are lots in Noosa…would have to say Rickys for the food, Sails for the view and The Spirit House for an experience.
3. What book are you reading at the moment?
I’ve just finished Ian McEwan’s “Solar”…I’ve been in love with his books ever since “Atonement”
4. What did you last go and see at the cinema?
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo…Swedish thriller…very strange.
5. What is your favourite wedding story?
There are many! But one that sticks in my head is the wedding of Carla & Nat, such gorgeous personalities, and they were oozing love, even after many years together. Their ceremony was held at Little Cove, and as Carla walked the staircase down to the beach, she was so keen to get to Nat that she bi-passed the aisle, and aimed directly for the canopy where he was waiting…it was so cute! She was wearing the most amazing pink Versace gown and her shoes were in one hand and a bunch of David Austin roses in another…she was on a mission…it was like no one else existed. I attach a couple of images of them during the ceremony…aren’t they just so cute!
